The Latino Diamante Awards

is an awards ceremony and cultural presentation held every year in October and has as its purpose to honor, recognize, and promote the achievements and contributions of Hispanic/Latino individuals and/or organizations in North Carolina.

Ritmo Latino Festival

This outdoor, cultural enrichment, free community festival, is held every May in Cary, NC, showcasing the sizzling sounds, hot rhythms, and delicious cuisines of Spain, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Star of Hope

Tree of Hope

This three-part campaign starts in December with “Arbolito” tree lighting and an evening of sharing in traditional holiday songs (villancicos and agüinaldos), tree decorating, and holiday refreshments.

Three Kings Day Parade

In January, the Three Kings arrive preceded by a parade of individuals, community groups, and businesses walking, driving vehicles, and/or riding floats.

Sabor y Cultura

.(The Flavor of Culture) is held throughout the year with the purpose of building awareness and appreciation of the diversity within the Hispanic/Latino community.


 Is a book reading held in Cary at the Page-Walker Art and History Center, is a joined venture with the Council of Mexico, an author from Mexico would share his or her work with the North Carolina community.
