The Latino Diamante Awards
An awards show with cultural performances held every October who purpose is to honor, recognize, and promote the achievements and contributions of individuals and/or organizations in North Carolina’s Hispanic/Latino community.
Ritmo Latino Festival
This outdoor, cultural enrichment, free community festival, is held every May in Cary, NC, showcasing the sizzling sounds, hot rhythms, and delicious cuisines of Spain, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Tree of Hope
This three-part campaign starts in December with “Arbolito” tree lighting and an evening of sharing in traditional holiday songs (villancicos and agüinaldos), tree decorating, and holiday refreshments. It culminates with the Gift Giving Celebration where gift are presented to families by the Three Kings’
Three Kings’ Day Parade
In January, the Three Kings arrive preceded by a parade of individuals, community groups, and businesses walking, driving vehicles, and/or riding floats.
Sabor y Cultura
(The Flavor of Culture) is held throughout the year with the purpose of building awareness and appreciation of the culinary and cultural diversity within the Hispanic/Latino community.
